Throughout the session, Matt shares his extensive knowledge about the art and science of candle making using his specially designed premium soy-beeswax blend.
The process begins with a discussion of the different types of wax and wicks used, ensuring your candles burn evenly and cleanly. You'll then move on to inserting the wicks into the jars and picking a custom scent blend from Midnight Candle Company’s extensive fragrance library. You can stick with one scent or create a personalized blend by mixing and matching fragrances, whether you prefer fresh florals and spicy woods, or soothing vanillas and vibrant citruses.
After choosing your scent, you’ll pick colors for your candles, or you may opt to leave them uncolored if you prefer white wax. Next, you’ll hand-pour hot liquid wax into the two glass jars, leaving the candles to cure while you head over to the labeling station and choose from stamps, markers, and other supplies to design personalized labels for the jars.
Cozy Studio Setting
The cozy, relaxed studio at Midnight Candle Company accommodates parties of various sizes, and private workshops for up to 25 people are available for special occasions. The laid-back atmosphere, combined with the creativity of candle-making, makes it a memorable experience for all.
